A fantastic role has become available in our Care Home Support Team for a Clinical Assistant. This is your chance to make a real, daily difference to residents in care homes across Kirklees, working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team of nurses, pharmacists, therapists and clinical colleagues.
The Clinical Assistant role supports the Care Home Support Team in delivering high-quality care to residents in care homes across Kirklees. Working under the guidance of qualified clinicians, you'll assist with basic clinical tasks, resident assessments, and administrative duties to ensure smooth service delivery.
Purpose:
Provide safe, effective, and compassionate care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
Perform clinical observations, assist with assessments, maintain accurate records, and liaise with care home staff and healthcare partners.
Requirements:
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills; commitment to professional development.

In this role, you'll:
Support resident assessments and carry out basic clinical tasks (e.g. observations, venepuncture, ECG, bladder scanning) once trained and assessed as competent.
Build strong relationships with care home staff, GPs and partner services to keep care safe, effective and compassionate.
Keep accurate records and help the team run smoothly through light admin and coordination.
