We are now hiring a Clinical Assistant to support our Clinical Director in daily clinical operations, prescription-related workflows, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth delivery of patient care.

Role Overview?

The Clinical Assistant will work closely with our Clinical Director (Consultant Psychiatrist) to assist with clinic operations, prescription-pad administration, documentation, coordination, and communication with internal teams.

Although this role is fully remote, the candidate must be based in or near Nottingham and be able to commute to Nottingham once per week for essential tasks such as prescription pad handling, document checks, and on-site coordination.

Key Responsibilities?

Clinical Operations Support



Assist the Clinical Director with day-to-day tasks and operational coordination. Ensure timely ordering, tracking, and safe storage of prescription pads, including FP10 private prescription pads. Organise, update, and maintain clinical documents and records following UK private healthcare standards. Support onboarding and communication with clinicians working on the platform. Prepare summaries, follow-up lists, and weekly updates for the Clinical Director.

Administrative Duties



Schedule meetings and coordinate weekly workflows with the Clinical Director. Help manage clinician documentation, credentials, and compliance materials. Ensure communication between clinical teams, operations teams, and patient support is timely and clear. Maintain accurate logs, spreadsheets, and operational trackers. Support internal audits, quality control checks, and regulatory documentation where needed.

Operational & On-Site Tasks (Nottingham, weekly)?



Attend the Nottingham site once a week to: collect, store, or verify prescription pads and controlled stationery manage mail or essential clinical paperwork assist with in-person tasks delegated by the Clinical Director Ensure all physical documents are handled securely and in compliance with CQC and UK standards.
Requirements

Essential

Based in Nottingham or within reasonable commuting distance Ability to attend Nottingham once per week Strong administrative experience (healthcare admin preferred) Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Comfortable working with digital tools (Google Workspace, spreadsheets, EHR/CRM tools)
Preferred

Experience in a clinical, medical, or mental-health setting Previous work supporting a psychiatrist, GP, nurse prescriber, or healthcare manager Familiarity with prescription workflows, FP10 pads, or controlled stationery Experience in remote working environments
