Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Coordinator to join our team and provide essential support to our Registered Manager. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth delivery of care services and maintaining our high standards of care quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support:

Assist the Registered Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks, documentation, and compliance requirements

Care Planning:

Support the development, implementation, and review of individual care plans in collaboration with service users, families, and healthcare professionals

Staff Coordination:

Help coordinate care staff schedules, training requirements, and ensure appropriate staffing levels

Quality Assurance:

Assist in monitoring care standards, conducting reviews, and implementing improvements

Regulatory Compliance:

Support compliance with CQC regulations, health and safety requirements, and company policies

Communication:

Liaise with service users, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records, reports, and care documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements

Risk Management:

Assist in identifying and managing risks, incident reporting, and safeguarding procedures

Training Support:

Help coordinate and deliver training programs for care staff

Resource Management:

Assist with inventory management, procurement of care supplies, and equipment maintenance
Essential Requirements

Experience:

Minimum 2 years' experience in a care environment, preferably in a coordination or supervisory role

Qualifications:

Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent (or willingness to work towards)

Knowledge:

Understanding of care standards, CQC regulations, and safeguarding procedures

Skills:

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Communication:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Technology:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and care management systems

Compassion:

Genuine commitment to providing person-centered care

Flexibility:

Ability to work flexible hours when required
Desirable Requirements

Level 4/5 qualification in Health and Social Care Management Previous experience supporting a Registered Manager Experience with care planning software and electronic care records Basic understanding of employment law and HR procedures
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 29,250.00 per year
