Clinical Deputy Manager
to help lead one of our exceptional homes at
Connaught Care
--a luxury, all-inclusive care group redefining what later life can feel like.

You won't just be "second in command"--you'll be the calm voice in complexity, the bridge between frontline teams and strategic oversight, and the clinical conscience of the home.
What You'll Be Doing:
Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, with a focus on clinical quality, safety, and operational leadership
Provide guidance and mentorship to nurses and care teams, acting as a visible and approachable leader
Oversee clinical governance, medication management, risk assessments and compliance with regulatory standards (CQC)
Lead on audits, care planning, supervisions, and the training and development of clinical staff
Build strong, trusting relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
Act as the home's lead in the Manager's absence, ensuring continuity, confidence, and calm under pressure
What You'll Bring:
A valid NMC registration (Registered Nurse - Adult) and substantial post-registration clinical experience
Proven leadership ability in a care or nursing home setting--ideally as a Senior Nurse, Clinical Lead, or Deputy
Strong working knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and clinical governance
Emotional intelligence and the ability to coach, challenge and support with equal grace
A resident-first mindset that understands care is about moments, not just metrics
