Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team in providing exceptional care within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of patient care, including assisted living, dementia care, and hospice care. This role involves supporting the management of clinical operations while ensuring high standards of care for our residents. You will work closely with the management team to oversee the delivery of services, maintain compliance with regulations, and foster a positive environment for both staff and patients.

Duties



Assist in the management and supervision of clinical staff to ensure effective patient care delivery. Oversee the implementation of care plans for residents, ensuring they are tailored to individual needs. Provide guidance and support in medication administration and monitoring patient health. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management and enhance service delivery. Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the facility. Facilitate training and development opportunities for staff, promoting continuous professional growth. Engage with families and caregivers to provide updates on patient progress and address any concerns. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service outcomes.

Qualifications



Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or similar environments is essential. Background in senior care, hospice care, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and ICU experience is advantageous. Strong team management skills with a focus on supervising clinical staff effectively. Knowledge of anatomy and medical imaging techniques is beneficial. Experience in home care settings and case management will be considered an asset. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues. A compassionate approach to patient care combined with strong organisational abilities is essential.
