to join our team as a
Clinical Lead
at our nursing home in Blyth. This is a pivotal leadership role for an experienced nurse with a strong background in
nursing home
environments and a passion for
elderly care

As the
Clinical Lead
, you will be the clinical expert on the floor, providing leadership, guidance, and supervision to our care team. You will ensure the delivery of the highest standard of person-centred care while upholding all clinical governance standards. If you are a senior

Key Responsibilities
Act as the clinical expert and lead for a team of nurses and care staff, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and support.
Ensure the safe and effective management of all clinical procedures, including leading and auditing
medication rounds
.
Work autonomously and proactively, using your initiative to manage the clinical environment during day shifts.
Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of personalised care plans for our residents.
Champion high standards of
clinical
care and
evidence-based practice
, leading by example for the entire team.
Mentor and support
Student Nurses
and junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Conduct clinical audits and contribute to
quality improvement
initiatives to enhance care delivery and safety.
Uphold compliance with CQC standards and NMC codes of conduct.
Qualifications & Experience Required
Valid NMC PIN
as a
Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN)
.
A minimum of
3 years of experience
in a
Clinical Lead
,
Senior Staff Nurse
, or
Deputy Manager
role within a UK
nursing home
.
Extensive and proven experience in leading and managing
medication rounds
.
The ability to work autonomously, demonstrating strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills.
A proven leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate, inspire, and support a team.
In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and a commitment to delivering outstanding
elderly care
.
