Job Description

The post holder will provide robust clinical leadership, and they will support the Head of Healthcare (male estate) to ensure delivery of high quality effective and efficient services and develop integrated pathways to support seamless service delivery built around patient need in the enhanced inpatient setting, including the implementation of systems and processes that support effective service delivery. The Clinical Lead help clinically manage the service landscape, this role will oversee patient care delivery, implement practices to maintain high standards, regularly review and update care plans, and evaluate clinical outcomes to identify areas for improvement. The Clinical Lead will take on a supervisory and hands-on clinical role, including direct clinical support, running clinics, and medication administration.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide clinical leadership within the team they will actively seek out and disseminate information, governance, best practice, and knowledge that supports the development of service delivery, ensuring clinical innovation and quality. Highlight and facilitate the opportunity of introduction and development of new practices thereby supporting the implementation of key strategic priorities across the team. Support and Drive clinical changes in service delivery. By providing clinical leadership, clinical governance, and supporting junior staff, the Clinical Lead will work towards improving clinical decision-making, and patient outcomes.
The clinical lead role will focus on streamlining clinical workflows, reducing duplication, and enabling Band 6 staff to work at the top of their scope.
