Hours:

Full-time, 36 hours per week

Clinical Hours:

Monday & Wednesday: 08:00 - 14:00 (6 hours each) Friday: 08:00 - 20:00 (12 hours)

Supernumerary Hours:

12 hours per week (to be split on remaining days)

Salary:

40,000 per annum

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated

Clinical Lead

to join our team at a well-established Nursing Home in

CT2 8NB

. The ideal candidate will be a

Registered Nurse

with proven leadership experience, strong clinical knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

This role is designed for someone who can provide both hands-on clinical leadership and effective managerial support. You will oversee clinical standards, support staff training, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing and care team. Support and mentor staff to deliver safe, person-centred, and high-quality care. Undertake assessments, care planning, and regular clinical reviews. Lead by example in maintaining compliance with CQC standards and best practices. Conduct clinical audits and ensure accurate documentation across all digital systems. Work collaboratively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Contribute to staff training, supervision, and performance development. Support the Home Manager in maintaining high operational and clinical standards.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN)

with valid

NMC registration

. Minimum

5 years of nursing experience

, including

Clinical Lead or Deputy Manager experience

. Confident in using

digital care and record-keeping systems

(IT literate is essential). Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills. Comprehensive understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and care governance. Commitment to promoting a positive, safe, and caring environment for residents.
