Job Description

As a Clinical Lead Nurse, we ask for you to care for our residents like they are your own family, caring for their Physical, Psychological and Social needs.


You must have your registered NMC Pin & Right to Work in the UK



This role will requires 2 days on the floor with residents and 2 days office based.


Day to Day responsibilities:


Residents Care Plans

Managing the nurses Medication rounds and associated documentation in line with NMC guidelines and Company policy.

Assess all aspects of resident's care needs and provide health supervision and direct nursing care when required.

Report any ill health amongst residents and make GP / professional visit requests where necessary

Ensure that Resident's Care Plans are correct and updates in conjunction with residents, relatives and other health care professionals and in accordance with NMC guidelines & Company policy.

Carry out regular checks on resident's and complete associated paperwork.

Reporting to the Home Manager where required.

Understand and ensure the implementation of Company policies.

Promote safe working practices within the Care Centre and accurate in detail documentation.

Other Duties:





To Attend Staff Meetings. Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs, demands of the home and participate in appropriate training and encourage and support staff in their development and training. Employee's need to ensure they fully understand their safeguarding responsibility, develop their understand and skills to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect to adults who need care and support. Employee's need to ensure that adults are safeguarded in a way that recognises their choice and control. Ensure that the safeguarding and whistle blowing policies are adhered too at all time. Provide evidence of any untaken training. Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation and work in a safe environment. Complete all training as determined by the home.
