We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Clinical Lead Nurse will play a pivotal role in overseeing patient care, ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice, and leading a team of nursing staff. Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate patient care activities, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and protocols.
Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects.
Mentor and support nursing staff, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional development.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with legal and organisational standards.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the clinical environment.
Skills
Strong knowledge of patient care practices, with a focus on delivering high-quality nursing services.
Proficient understanding of human anatomy and physiology to inform clinical decision-making.
Expertise in medication administration, including knowledge of pharmacology and safe handling practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
