Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Lead Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our dental team. As the Lead Dental Nurse, you will assist in various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including treatment plans and medical histories. Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear explanations of procedures and addressing any concerns they may have. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up care, demonstrating strong organisational skills. Support the dental team in administrative tasks as needed, utilising IT skills for record-keeping and communication. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote patient comfort and safety.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification and management experience in a similar role. Proficient in English with excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues. Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy practice environment. A genuine passion for patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times. Familiarity with dental software systems is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
