About the Role



We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate

Clinical Lead Nurse

to join a well-established and respected

nursing home in Newcastle upon Tyne (NE3)

. As a Clinical Lead, you'll be responsible for supporting the Home Manager in leading the nursing team, maintaining the highest clinical standards, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement in care delivery.

Key Responsibilities



Provide clinical leadership and line management to nursing and care staff Oversee the assessment, planning, and implementation of individual care plans Conduct audits and reviews to maintain regulatory compliance and CQC standards Mentor, support and coach team members to promote skill development and best practice Ensure safe administration of medication and accurate documentation (MARs, care plans) Act as a key contact for relatives, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders Support the Home Manager with staffing, rotas, and care quality improvement plans Deliver compassionate, person-centred care that promotes dignity and wellbeing

Requirements



Valid

NMC registration (RGN or RMN)

Minimum

3 years of experience as a Clinical Lead

or in a similar senior nurse leadership position Strong clinical expertise in elderly and/or dementia care Excellent knowledge of CQC standards and care regulations Proven experience mentoring and developing junior staff Effective communication and leadership skills Right to work in the UK - sponsorship is
