An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced registered nurse to provide clinical nursing leadership within the Waiting List Support Service (WLSS) within Hywel Dda University Health Board.
The service objective is to provide advice and support to patients awaiting planned care in order to promote healthy lifestyle choices, prevent deterioration and deconditioning and help patients to prepare for treatment and recovery in line with the Welsh Government's Promote, Prevent, Prepare policy for Planned Care.
As clinical lead nurse within the multidisciplinary service the successful candidate will be responsible for the clinical oversight and governance of the service and have line management and professional responsibility for the registered nurses within the service. The post holder will work closely with all relevant stakeholders to actively review, develop and evaluate service delivery and new ways of working.
The successful candidate will have significant clinical experience working within a multidisciplinary team across different clinical specialties/ conditions within an integrated care system.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
