Skin Solace Clinic is a pioneering, clinician-led regenerative dermatology clinic specialising in Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) recovery via cutting-edge Ultra-Pulse Contact CAP therapy. Founded by two former TSW sufferers, our clinic combines lived experience, innovation, and evidence-based care.
We are recruiting a senior nurse leader to oversee all aspects of clinical operations and therapeutic delivery, focused primarily on client consultancy, assessing skin conditions and creating treatment plans for patients from around the globe. TSW specific training will be provided.

Qualifications required:
Band 7 Registered Nurse, with managerial experience
Demonstrable leadership experience in clinical settings (e.g. clinic lead, nurse manager, senior practitioner).
Experience and knowledge in Dermatology, wound care, stoma care and burns, ability to identify bacteria and fungal infections preferred
Prescribers qualification desirable.

Key responsibilities
Patient Care:
The Clinical Lead Nurse will be responsible for spearheading the clinic's patient care program, working with the support of our Junior Nurse. Responsibilities include:
Patient Onboarding:*
Conducting online assessment and advice calls, developing personalised treatment plans, welcoming patients for their initial sessions, and ensuring consistent follow-ups. Develop and implement individualised care pathways and therapeutic schedules.
Ongoing Patient Support:*
Providing continuous in-person and offline check-ins, offering advice, customising treatment plans to individual needs, and generating progress reports. Deligating tasks to our Junior Nurse when required.
Act as the clinic's senior authority on TSW protocols, skin assessment, and CAP therapy.
Communication:*
Collaborating closely with our Junior Nurse, Administrator and Therapist team to ensure seamless communication regarding patient updates and treatment plans.
Record Keeping:*
Maintaining accurate and detailed patient files and notes. Author detailed progress notes and patient reports; manage documentation compliance.
Policy Development:*
Creating and implementing policies and procedures to deliver the highest standard of patient care.
Service Improvement:*
Assessing current services and implementing improvements. Liaise with clinic founders on strategic development, patient outcomes, and service innovation.
Reporting:*
Submitting a yearly report with recommendations for patient care enhancements for the upcoming year.
Operational Management:
This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the clinic, including managing the daily patient flow and ensuring facility maintenance.
Staff Management:*
The Clinical Lead Nurse will oversee clinic staff, encompassing hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Financial Management:*
Responsibilities include managing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring the financial efficiency of the clinic.
Compliance:*
The Clinical Lead Nurse will ensure the clinic adheres to all relevant regulations and healthcare standards.
Quality Assurance:*
This position requires implementing and monitoring quality control measures to uphold high standards of patient care.
Patient Relations:*
The Lead Nurse will be responsible for addressing patient concerns and complaints, ensuring a consistently positive patient experience.
Facility Management:*
This includes overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the clinic's facilities.
Inventory Management:*
The Clinical Lead Nurse will manage supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
