Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated

Clinical Lead

to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care within our service. This is a key leadership role, ideal for a Nurse looking to step into a senior clinical position or an existing Clinical Lead seeking a new challenge in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strong clinical leadership to nursing and care teams, ensuring best practice and high standards of care. Oversee the clinical governance within the home, including audits, care plans, and risk assessments. Support the Home Manager with day-to-day operations, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Lead, mentor, and develop staff through training, supervision, and clinical guidance. Ensure safe medication management and adherence to NMC and CQC regulations. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service by identifying areas for development and implementing effective solutions. Liaise professionally with external stakeholders, residents, families, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies. Support rota planning, clinical scheduling, and delegation of tasks across the team. Assist in maintaining accurate records, documentation, and reporting as required.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with valid NMC registration. Previous experience as a Clinical Lead, Senior Nurse, or strong background in leadership within a care home or healthcare setting. Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills. Strong understanding of CQC standards and clinical governance.
