We are looking for an experienced and motivated

Clinical Lead

to join our friendly and professional team. This is a key leadership role, ideal for a confident dental nurse who is passionate about high clinical standards, patient care, and supporting and developing the wider nursing team.

Responsibilities

Lead and support the nursing team to ensure consistently high clinical standards across the practice. Assist clinicians during a full range of dental procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and available. Act as a point of contact for clinical queries, offering guidance and support to nursing staff. Ensure compliance with all cross-infection control, CQC, and health & safety regulations. Oversee surgery readiness, cleanliness, stock levels, and equipment maintenance. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Support induction, training, and ongoing development of dental nurses and trainees. Work closely with the Practice Manager and clinicians to support smooth day-to-day clinical operations.

Experience & Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with current GDC registration. Previous experience in a senior or lead dental nursing role (or ready to step up). Confident assisting with a wide range of dental treatments. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. A proactive, supportive team player with a calm and professional approach. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and clinical governance.
