My client is a leading North West based law firm that offers the full range of legal services to individuals, commercial clients, and a number of specialist sectors where they excel nationally, and as they continue their ambitious growth plans into the Leeds legal market, they\'re now seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Lawyer to join their team in the city centre (and from home, as hybrid working is also available!).

This is a great opportunity for a Solicitor/Legal Executive with around 2-8 years PQE or equivalent, to progress their current career and join a collaborative and professional team; it\'s a given that candidates will want to long term development/progression in the department.

The successful Clinical Negligence Lawyer will be a qualified Solicitor/Legal Executive (or equivalent) with previous experience of handling their own caseload and working to and managing deadlines within Clinical Negligence and serious catastrophic injury cases, and with the capability to generate fees in accordance with agreed targets.

Commensurate with the above, candidates will also be expected to have proven competence in their IT skills (outlook, word, case management and other systems experience), the ability to work as part of a team, excellent client care skills, providing professional and competent legal advice in accordance with SRA Code of Conduct, and excellent communication and technical ability.

The role will be responsible for delivering successful outcomes such as:

  • working alongside other solicitors, partners, and paralegals;
  • having direct communication with clients and third-party professionals;
  • managing your own case load;
  • dealing with a mix of Complex Clinical Negligence cases;
  • using the Firm\'s Case Management Systems;
  • preparing articles/blogs/legal updates and publishing to social media;
  • business development activities;
