An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the multi-disciplinary neuromuscular diseases team at Queen Square NHNN

The Highly Specialised Services (HSS) for Rare Mitochondrial and Neuromuscular Disorders provides comprehensive assessment and management of patients with primary mitochondrial diseases and rare muscle channelopathies.



The ideal candidate will have experience of working with complex neurology patients but full training, education and support will be provided.



This is an exciting time to join the team as we are in the process of reviewing the service ensuring we are able to meet the needs of our patients now and in the future. The successful individual will have a pivotal role in delivering UCLH and neurology service objectives ensuring that the care delivered reflects UCLH's vision and values.



The Clinical Nurse Specialist will be a member of the Multidisciplinary team, working closely with specialist therapists and Consultants neurologists as a competent practitioner.



The role involves leading clinics to support patients and also to advocate for them when dealing with external services who may have limited experience of such rare disorders.
