We have opportunities for a Part Time pharmacist to provide clinical input on inpatient wards in mental health hospitals and clinics in the Bristol and Somerset region

The Role:

A ward based clinical pharmacist role supporting clinical staff to provide optimal pharmaceutical care and comply with healthcare regulations/best practice in medicines management. You will provide advice on the appropriate use of medicines and may also be required to provide training to clinical staff. This role is based in the South West Region with travel to other services as per the service needs.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

The position is ideally suited to someone who has a passion for providing excellent pharmaceutical care within the Mental Health Sector. Applicants should have excellent communication skills as well as strong time management and organisation skills.

There is the opportunity to develop clinical skills and to undertake a post-graduate qualification. We welcome applications from both community and hospital pharmacists with at least 1 years' post-registration experience. Previous mental health experience would be advantageous but isn't essential.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday - 2/3 days per week We have flexible opportunities regarding the number of days worked per week.
