ASSOCIATE (Self-employed) ROLE

Clinical, Counselling or Practitioner Psychologist

This involves working with children, young people and adults who may be struggling with a wide range of mental health difficulties and/or challenges related to neurodiversity.

Responsibilities

Clinical work:

As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to provide assessments and therapy to a wide range of individuals referred to our service including children, young people, adults, parents and families. The difficulties experienced by those being referred to our team range from low mood, anxiety and friendship difficulties to challenges related to neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism and ADHD.

Role details and benefits

Location: The role is based in Birmingham City Centre, but we are open minded to other locations around Birmingham. We are primarily looking for people who can offer in person sessions.

Hours: You are free to choose which hours you would like to do. We request that all new practitioners commit 5-10 hours a week to working with our clients.

Pay: Pay ranges from 80-90 per session depending on experience and numbers of hours completed per month.

Enhanced payments: For those who complete over a certain number of sessions per month, enhanced payments will apply.

CPD and supervision: We offer peer supervision weekly and CPD once per month.

Qualifications and Minimum criteria

You must be accredited with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist for a minimum of 1 year

and be based in the UK. If you are an international candidate who is not based in the UK, we would be happy to have a conversation with you if your HCPC registration is already active.
