This job is based in the South West Area.
Responsibilities/Essential DutiesIncrease product usage at existing accounts and expand customer base through clinical education of new users and generate revenue growth. Ensure customers are able to independently, safely and efficiently operate TEG & Cell Saver equipment and related disposables.
Train new and existing sales staff on all product and clinical aspects of TEG & Cell Saver lines. Provide summary of training sessions and ensure follow up as needed.
Provide clinical expertise to help ensure that our product lines reach standard of care levels within the account.
Help drive and expand existing business to include broadening application of our product lines within the account, achieving assigned sales AOP annually.
Visit assigned hospital accounts, identify and train clinical champions and establish relationships with key decision makers.
Provide product feedback to sales and marketing including customer feedback on product enhancements, service and policies through direct feedback as well as demonstration assessments and competitive developments.
Resolve customer concerns through accurate and timely investigation and partner with sales team members to develop solutions.
Increase professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
Provide history by maintaining records on area of responsibility and customers in that area.
Conduct Grand Rounds Presentations
Support VAD/ECMO customers
Initial and ongoing TEG interpretation training
Expansion of TEG utilization in current TEG accounts
Conduct on-site clinical training
Conduct clinical presentations on Blood Management
Identify product champions/KOL's
Work with Territory Manager to maximize TEG & Cell Saver growth
Support product demonstrations
Develop key customer relationships
Provide tradeshow support
Education
Bachelor's Degree - Science, Nursing, or Medical Technology
Master's Degree - Advanced Degree and/or professional credentialing
Experience
3 years - Industry related experience, preferably in diagnostics
Clinical experience in the hospital/OR/ICU environment
Experience in training and development of clinical education and training programs
SkillsDemonstrated written communication skills
Strong verbal communication and listening skills
Ability to convince and proven experience in driving products adoption.
Effective interpersonal skills, Comfortable in interacting with clinicians at a high level and with a flair for developing customer relationships.
Strong Project management skills and solid organization skills
Knowledge of blood management required
Strong technical/clinical aptitude to understand, train customers and users on products (including running the TEG Analyzer, understanding application of results and manipulating the software).
