We are thrilled to share that exciting developments are happening in Oxfordshire's Mental Health Urgent Care pathway as we expand our Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (CRHTT) Service we are spreading out across the county and developing our senior lead roles. We are seeking a Clinical Shift Coordinator to join our growing function on a full time basis.
The CRHTT service is a key part of the Urgent Care Pathway vision to provide a 24/7 crisis mental health service across the county . Clinicians employed into the team are already part of an exciting and developing service that aims to support services users and their trusted persons with least restrictive care by providing a variety of highly intensive brief Bio- Psychosocial intervention interventions in the community.
The Clinical Shift Coordinators will ensure direct supervision and management of shift-based clinicians, guaranteeing high-quality, responsive, and patient-centred crisis care and treatment in a community setting.
You will work alongside the clinical leadership team to support the wider team to achieve key performance targets to achieve full fidelity to the Crisis Model and Accreditation.
Our work is interesting and varied with opportunities to develop therapeutic skills in psychosocial interventions and qualifications in community care/research and management and leadership within a healthcare setting
Lead and coordinate the activities of the crisis team during clinical shifts, ensuring effective patient care and adherence to clinical governance.
Actively participate in the triage of new referrals, risk assessments, and the formulation of care plans.
Oversee the clinical and administrative handover processes at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring continuity of care.
Ensure the effective and efficient deployment of staff and resources based on the anticipated caseload and geographic considerations.
Provide clinical supervision, support, and guidance to junior staff and peers, promoting best practices in mental health crisis intervention.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver intensive short-term treatment interventions in line with the Crisis model.
