Job Description
Essential Registered General Nurse with current NMC Registration. Evidence of relevant academic achievements & evidence of continuous professional development. Proven ability in teaching others via a teaching and assessment qualification or relevant experience Experienced in the role of mentor to students and developing the ward to be an effective learning environment. Proven effective interpersonal skills with an ability to demonstrate managing people and processes via evidence of clinical experience at a senior nursing level.
IT skills e.g. Use of the internet to access nursing data bases and for report writing. Evidence of motivating and empowering staff to continually develop themselves Ability to work flexibly within a multi-disciplinary team Ability to work under own initiative, demonstrate direction and meet deadlines Ability to work hours flexibly when service needs require Desirable Knowledge of relevant and current national policies, agendas and directives relating to nursing and health care provision.
