We have an exciting opportunity for a registered Mental Health Nurse , occupational therapist or social worker looking to progress their career as a clinical specialty practitioner.



We are looking for a dynamic registered practitioner with advanced clinical skills. We want applicants who are keen to be part of transformation and improvement in the area of West Adult CMHT ; people who can offer strong clinical leadership, education and mentoring to the team.

West Norfolk Adult CMHT are a proactive team supporting in treatment led interventions. You will be responsible for assessments, risk management, care planning, and co-ordination of care delivery within a well-resourced team, supported with regular supervision and providing opportunities to work in partnership with health and social care, linking into the wider multi-disciplinary service.



In addition to this , you will be asked to support Junior Practitioner by provided clinical leadership across the services to ensure high standards of care and clinical excellence across services.



Main Duties of the role include:



To provide clinical leadership to the clinical team in the care, treatment and therapy of the client group, with a clear focus on clinical risk and its management.



To influence, lead and motivate staff at all levels within the clinical environment to deliver high quality care.



To provide expertise, support and advice to clinical practitioners regarding all aspects of clinical care including implementing best practise based on evidence-based practice and

National Guidance.



To sustain the clinically based training programme aimed at the development of staff within the clinical environment.



To provide information, education and support for service users and their carers re coping with diagnosis and treatments.



To interpret national guidelines and relevant research to inform local practice and procedures to achieve best practice.



To maintain own expert status by developing training and improvement projects underpinned by research and legislation.



To be member of the Trust Senior Nursing team and to contribute to relevant forums and meetings.



To take part in and facilitate audits relevant to patient care.



To take part in RCA reviews and implement any lessons learnt from incidents and complaints within the clinical area
