Job Description

Please familiarise yourself with full and Person Specification documents attached to this advert. To provide advanced acute paediatric SLT care and clinical leadership in the management of patients under the care of NUH Childrens Hospital Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Service who are referred with communication and/or swallowing or feeding difficulties across a range of specialities. To deliver a high quality service by implementing evidence-based practice, demonstrating clinical effectiveness, and focussing on patient centred outcomes within the acute paediatric SLT service. To provide training and supervision for less experienced SLTs and students within acute paediatric SLT To deliver training and engage in inter-disciplinary learning with other SLTs and MDT colleagues To develop and extend the scope of practice through service evaluation, audit, and research projects The post holder must have - Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree HCPC and RCSLT registration Evidence of appropriate CPD post qualifying.
