Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Clinical Trainer
to design, deliver, and evaluate high-quality clinical skills training for our care workforce. You will ensure staff are competent and confident in delivering specialist care to clients with complex health needs, while meeting regulatory and best practice standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver engaging classroom, practical, and online training for new and existing staff.
Train clinical, and statutory and mandatory training across the business
Provide hands-on clinical skills assessments and competency sign-offs.
Deliver training in (but not limited to):
Clinical observations (temperature, pulse, respiration's, blood pressure, oxygen saturation)
Pressure area care, tissue viability, and wound management
Enteral feeding (PEG)
Epilepsy and seizure management, including administration of Buccal Midazolam
Stoma care
Tracheostomy management
Ventilation support
Cough assist
Suctioning
Nebulisers and inhaler use
Oxygen therapy
Keep training content up to date with current guidelines and best practice.
Support managers in identifying training needs and developing tailored learning plans.
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, making improvements where needed.
Requirements
Registered Nurse (RN/RGN/RNLD) or equivalent recognised clinical qualification.
Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent
teaching/training qualification.
Proven experience delivering specialist clinical skills training in health or social care.
Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in a clinical role, preferably community or home care.
Strong knowledge of complex care procedures and interventions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to multiple locations.
