Job overview

Vendor Program Managers are an integral part of clinical trial delivery. Core member of the Clinical Trial Team, independently managing all vendor related aspects of global clinical trials. Accountable for all Vendor related operational trial deliverables, according to timelines, budget, operational procedures, quality/compliance and performance standards.

Main responsibilities

  • Close interaction and collaboration with study team lead and study team members during study lifetime
  • Review of vendor related protocol sections during protocol development
  • Managers interface with vendors in cooperation with vendor partner function
  • Quote/proposal review in collaboration with procurement, support contract negotiation, if required
  • Accountable for vendor cost control, budget review, invoice reconciliation an PO close-out
  • Vendor service excellence at study level, ensures vendors meet quality and service level standards in their service delivery for the trial
  • Initiate/co-ordinates vendor kick-off meeting
  • Uses Clinical Insights to manage vendors and to achieve site readiness timelines
  • Acts as escalation point for vendor-related query management
  • Performs user-acceptance testing (UAT) for eCOA and IRT

  • Vendor service excellence at study level
  • Vendor onboarding
  • Vendor KPI and KQI dashboard at study level
  • Site readiness monitoring
  • Risk map with contingency plan
  • UAT for eCOA and IRT
  • ESP cost control
  • Site readiness document management
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree Bachelor\'s Degree in health care or other scientific discipline required
Excellent vendor management skills in clinical trials area

Robust understanding of all service categories and their deliverables through study lifecycle

Extensive working experience and knowledge of the clinical operations processes

Previous experience in: project management, tracking drug supply, demand & contracting process, budget holder, set-up of team meeting vendor management.

Excellent communication skills
