Job Description

St Paul's Primary School is looking for a caring, nurturing member of staff to work in our busy afternoon club.

You should be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills, be an effective team member and be prepared to use your own initiative.

The working hours are from

3.00pm

until 6.00pm, 4 days per week Monday to Friday (12 hours per week) term time only

.

The full time salary scale for the post is

23,606.00

and the pro-rata salary will be

6,580.00



Start Date:

As soon as possible

As an Afterschool Care Assistant your key responsibilities would include:

Supervising children attending the Afterschool club

Ensuring their safety and well-being

Providing appropriate activities and games for the children to enjoy

Encouraging good behaviour

Supporting the Club Supervisor with the overall running of the club in line with the club polices and procedure


Successful applicants must be able to support the distinctive Christian ethos of the school but do not have to be a practising Christian.
