As an Architect, you will:Work with our clients to define technical requirements & designs to solve business and technical needs.Design and deploy enterprise-wide scalable, highly available, fault tolerant, secure and reliable applicationsDevelop/prototype technical architecture components.Support development team with coaching and reviews of designs and code.Provide guidance on system performance and consumption issues.Assess and recommend the best of breed technology solutions and frameworks to address client needs; run proof of concepts/architectures for key decisionsUndertake research into new technologies and define/revise reference architectures.Take ownership for ensuring delivery success from a business and technical perspective.Continually build and hone your technical competence and industry relevant skills.We are looking for experience in the following:The different dimensions of software architecture and how they inter-relate, such as development, execution, integration and operations architectures;Proven experience and knowledge working with one or more Cloud platforms - AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM and their API gateway or iPaaS offerings;An understanding of the concept of non-functional requirements (ilities) and can relate these to architecture components;SOA webservices, APIs and microservices design and delivery in Java, NodeJS, .NET, Python, GoLang or similar;Docker, Redhat OpenShift, native or managed Kubernetes;Experience of Oracle, IBM or SpringSource platforms deployed locally and in the cloud;Whatxe2x80x99s in it for youAt Accenture in addition to a competitive basic salary, you will also have an extensive benefits package which includes up to 25 daysxe2x80x99 vacation per year, private medical insurance and 3 extra days leave per year for charitable work of your choice!Flexibility and mobility are required to deliver this role as there will be requirements to spend time onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery of the outstanding services, we are known for.About AccentureAccenture is a leading global professional services company, providing a broad range of services in strategy and consulting, interactive, technology and operations, with digital capabilities across all of these services.
