Worcester RFC have a vacancy for a Club Steward Manager to oversee the management of the day-to-day operations of the clubhouse and premises.

Spearheaded by our senior men's and women's league teams - who continually strive for excellence and represent the club in competitive regional rugby. Alongside them, we run a thriving mini and junior section with over 450 young players, popular inclusive men's and women's mixed ability teams, successful girls' rugby teams, and walking rugby initiatives. More than just a rugby club, WRFC is a community hub - hosting local events, health services, and social activities that bring people together both on and off the pitch.

Purpose of the Role
To manage the day-to-day operation and presentation of Worcester RFC's clubhouse and facilities. The Club Steward Managerwill ensure a high standard of hospitality, cleanliness, safety, and service, supporting the club's sporting and community activities. This is a hands-on role requiring energy, initiative, and a strong customer focus.
Key Responsibilities
Clubhouse Operations
Open, close, and oversee the daily presentation and upkeep of all clubhouse areas.
Coordinate maintenance and cleaning tasks.
Work with Worcester RFC to coordinate regular internal requirements, including engaging activities and player meals for match days and training sessions.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and licensing standards.
Bar, Kitchen & Staff Management
Oversee bar and kitchen operations, including stock control and cellar management.
Work with Treasurer and Bookkeeper to raise invoices for events and control/approve expenditure.
Manage rotas and supervise casual bar, kitchen and event staff.
Maintain excellent service standards across match days and events.
Events & Bookings
Proactively promote and convert new event bookings, earning commission.
Act as the lead contact for all venue bookings and external hires.
Coordinate setup, delivery, and clear-down for all internal and external events.
