Clubhouse Supervisor

to help manage our busy clubhouse and bar operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong hospitality and event management experience who enjoys working in a lively, social, and community-focused environment.

The Role



Reporting to the

Clubhouse Manager

, the Clubhouse Supervisor will take a leading role in the day-to-day running of the clubhouse -- ensuring smooth bar operations, excellent customer service, and successful delivery of events and functions. You'll supervise bar, kitchen and cleaning staff, maintain high standards across the venue, and ensure every member and visitor enjoys their time at the club.

This role averages 40 hours a week over the year. During busier periods you may work more, and during quieter periods fewer, but you'll be paid a consistent salary.

Key Responsibilities



Operational & Team Leadership



Supervise and support bar, kitchen and cleaning staff to deliver an excellent clubhouse experience. Lead by example on service standards, teamwork, and presentation. Open and close the clubhouse, ensuring safety, security, and operational readiness. Support the Clubhouse Manager in delivering growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals.

Events & Hospitality Management



Plan, organise, and deliver a range of club and private events, including match days, functions, and social activities. Liaise with teams, members, and external clients to ensure events run smoothly. Coordinate and support kitchen staff. Ensure event setup, staffing, and cleanup are managed efficiently.

Bar & Facilities Oversight



Manage bar operations, stock rotation, and cleanliness. Handle cash, floats, and end-of-day reconciliations accurately. Ensure compliance with licensing, health and safety, and hygiene regulations. Maintain a tidy, welcoming, and professional clubhouse environment.

About You



You'll be a confident, proactive organiser who thrives in a hands-on role and enjoys being at the centre of a buzzing clubhouse atmosphere. You'll combine strong leadership skills with practical experience running events and hospitality operations.

Essential:



Proven experience organising and managing events (social, hospitality, or club). Experience in bar, restaurant, or venue management/supervision. Strong organisational, communication, and people management skills. Excellent customer service and attention to detail. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and match days. Basic catering experience.

Desirable:



Experience working in a

sports club

or community venue environment.
