We are looking for a results-driven, commercially minded, and strategic

Cluster

Business Development Manager

to drive revenue growth and expand business opportunities within the sales department. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, building strong client relationships, and increasing sales performance across our three Residence Inn London properties (Residence Inn by Marriott London Kensington, Residence Inn by Marriott London Bridge and Residence Inn by Marriott London Tower Bridge).

Your role:




We are dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality and growing our market presence. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing new business, fostering relationships with key clients, and maximizing revenue for the hotel's sales department.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:



To research, identify and introduce new & lapsed business opportunities to support hotel budgets in all segments and for all revenue streams (corporate, conference/event, leisure and social) To actively manage all existing local accounts, ensuring structured account management plan is in place along with maintaining a consistent upselling approach to maximise revenue To own "local sales" delivery to drive business from hotel led specific opportunities to further drive share, including social media activities, welcome desks, showcase events, etc. To drive the implementation of the Hotel Sales & Marketing plan, updating information and recording results on a monthly basis to ensure positive activities are repeated and unsuccessful activities are effectively evaluated and changed as appropriate To be fully conversant with all hotels, services, packages, promotions and special offers available on a group basis and for individual hotels To own the hotels' shopping windows and maintain content up to date on all channels at all time To identify sales opportunities/leads for all Axiom Hospitality Hotels from new and existing customers To liaise with key sales contacts to manage and develop business from Brand Partners managed accounts To build relationships and business cases with Events Agents, Association bodies, Long stay partners and through direct sales to corporate market To follow all company procedures relating to targeting, measuring and reporting To actively participate in any company wide or local sales initiatives To promote the image of the Company and the hotels by the provision of quality customer care standards both internally and externally

The core skills and experience required to succeed:



Experienced sales professional with experience in the hotel market and account management Strategic and proven approach to exceeding KPI's and business development Knowledge and experience of using a CRM, S&C and RFP systems Have undertaken formal sales training i.e. negotiations, strategic selling, account management Proficient in MS Word, Excel and online tools. Ability to work under pressure to deadlines and targets Understanding of the hospitality and travel industry Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision, taking full ownership of portfolio of hotels Demonstrated strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills (written and verbal)
