Your Purpose

This role is central to the management, delivery and development of high quality, person centred, support across a number of services and to promoting PossAbilities' reputation by delivering quality, person centred services, within challenging budgets and governance requirements. It will provide the catalyst to drive, implement all operational change, be the front-line management face of Operations, and be instrumental in delivering flexible and individual support packages.

Promote the culture of Person-Centred Working and PossAbilities strategy throughout the services/hubs and ensure support provided to people is personalised Monitor all aspects of quality and be involved in monthly compliance inspecting in hubs/services Oversee complex case management issues Supervise and develop Hub Leaders as agreed Address day to day complex issues raised by Hub Leaders Oversee safeguarding issues and lead on the safeguarding contact for the agreed services/hubs and local authority Promote involvement of people supported throughout services/hubs Conduct Hub Leader meetings Attend forums within the local authority as agreed and maintain and develop proactive working relationships with all internal colleagues, commissioners, GP's, local safeguarding staff and other external agencies and professionals. Attend and participate in personal supervision and appraisal Be involved where needed in the RAS process and contract reviews for people supported Oversee and coordinate staff recruitment, selection and induction with emphasis on involvement of people supported Coordinate staff training for services/hubs and contribute to the annual training plan for the area in conjunction with the transformation trainer. Monitor health and safety including accidents and incidents for services/hubs and to ensure the services are delivered in line with health and safety standards and the Health and Safety Act 1974. Monitor complaints and compliments Undertake investigations and delegate related tasks where appropriate Present disciplinary and grievances hearings Ensure that the support arrangements in all the services are compliant with the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and PossAbilities standards, including accurate recording and reporting at all times. Ensure that all financial compliance criteria are met in relation to the people we support and budgets for the cluster. Ensure that all employee relations issues are addressed quickly and in line with PossAbilities policies and procedures and through discussion with HR. Monitor sickness levels across the cluster and to address all sickness in line with the agreed policies and through working with HR colleagues. Ensure individuals are supported in a person-centred way to achieve their chosen outcomes and aspirations and that staff are accountable to the person supported. To evidence this for both internal and external audiences. Manage developments and change within your team. Promote a culture of openness and transparency, actively seek feedback, promote the rights of the person supported and respond positively to concerns and complaints. Promote and champion PossAbilities initiatives, such as PCAS (Person Centred Active Support) and to ensure that the underpinning principles are applied across all services within the cluster and that staff understand the key principles. Manage the service in order to meet the desires and aspirations of people supported and/or their representative, service commissioners and the regulator. Work in partnership with other key stakeholders and providers in order to deliver and develop PossAbilities reputation for excellent delivery of transformed services.
