This is a career-defining role where you'll have the freedom to shape and lead the sales strategy across two iconic Scottish hotels. It's an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make their mark, grow with the business, and be part of an inspiring journey as we continue to expand our reach in the luxury leisure, corporate, and MICE markets.
Role Overview
As Cluster Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue, building strong client relationships, and maximising market opportunities across both properties.
You will focus on new business development, key account management, and creating strategic partnerships across leisure, MICE, corporate, and special events markets.
This role offers the flexibility and autonomy to create and implement your own strategies, working closely with the events teams, General Managers and group marketing and commercial teams to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement proactive sales strategies for both hotels across leisure, corporate, MICE, and event markets.
Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, sales calls, attending trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings.
Manage key accounts, build long-lasting relationships, and grow revenue from existing clients.
Conduct regular sales activity: site visits, presentations, client entertainment, and familiarisation trips.
Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure alignment between sales campaigns and marketing initiatives.
Prepare and deliver detailed sales reports, revenue forecasts, and pipeline updates.
Represent the hotels at networking events, trade fairs, and exhibitions nationally and internationally where appropriate.
Work with operations teams to ensure the seamless delivery of client expectations.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends, adjusting strategies as needed.
Lead sales projects and promotions to maximise occupancy and revenue, especially during key seasons.
About You
We are looking for a proactive, confident, and ambitious sales professional who is ready to take ownership of this cluster role.
You will be an excellent communicator, passionate about luxury hospitality, and motivated by targets and success.
You'll ideally have:
A proven track record of sales success in the hospitality sector.
Cluster or multi-property experience (ideal but not essential).
Experience working across MICE, leisure, and corporate sales markets.
Strong networking skills and ability to build credible relationships at all levels.
Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills.
Highly self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong business acumen.
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider commercial team.
Flexibility to travel between properties and occasionally beyond.

Three reasons to choose a career with Crerar Hotels
Destination locations
Scotland provides a sought-after quality of life, ideal for outdoorsy types. Urbanites may find there are limitations, with reduced public transport, small local shops and occasionally - the ultimate modern hardship - patchy phone signal. But those who take that in their stride find that they discover true peace and quiet, wake up to incredible scenery and have Scotland's natural larder to feast on daily.
Talent development
We always aim to progress staff internally where possible, which means a number of our team have been with us long-term. They've chosen to make a life in one (or more!) of our locations, building themselves a varied career in the Scottish hospitality industry.
Shaped by our values
We share the spirit of Scotland through our values. We take
pride
in providing a truly
authentic
experience we're
warm
in personality,
curious
to get to know our guests and
confident
in sharing our knowledge. We take what we do seriously, but our
humour
means we also see the lighter side. Above all, we're comfortable saying, "we are who we are!"
