. In this role, you'll build our globally renowned Coordinate Measuring Machines, helping some of the world's biggest names in automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing achieve outstanding precision.
What You'll Do
Carrying out fitting, assembly, and testing of our CMM's
Checking that kits are complete and in line with bills of material
Alignment and testing of assembled parts
Quality inspection in accordance with processes and standards
Reading and understanding engineering drawings and/or electronic schematics
Testing & fault finding
Calibration and verification of CMM's
Assembly and cleaning of components
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a team player with strong practical skills and a proactive attitude. You should have:
An electro/mechanical qualification, or qualified by experience
Experience in the assembly of electro/mechanical equipment to engineering drawings
Previous experience working in a busy manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Mechanical aptitude essential, electronic aptitude desirable
Troubleshooting skills
Basic computer skills
A knowledge of metrology would be highly advantageous but not essential.
