Trainee Calibration Technician
to join our aerospace calibration and metrology team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for engineering, precision measurement, and technical development to start a rewarding career within a world-class aerospace environment.
You will receive full training in the calibration, verification, and maintenance of a wide range of precision instruments and measuring equipment used across our manufacturing and inspection departments.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the calibration and verification of dimensional, pressure, and temperature measuring instruments in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.
Support the maintenance of calibration records and certificates within the Quality Management System (QMS).
Learn to interpret calibration data, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
Help ensure all equipment is calibrated to UKAS standards and traceable to national standards.
Support internal and external audits (NADCAP, ISO9001, AS9100).
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised laboratory environment.
Work collaboratively with inspection, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams.
What We're Looking For:
A keen interest in engineering, manufacturing, or aerospace.
Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in Math's, English, and Science -- A-Level or BTEC in Engineering preferred. or relevant experience
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Ability to follow procedures accurately and record technical data clearly.
Basic understanding of measurement principles and hand tools is an advantage.
Good IT literacy (Excel, databases, calibration software).
Willingness to learn and undertake formal training (NVQ, BTEC, or internal apprenticeship programme).
