to meet customer and industry standards, including
AS9100

Duties
Calibrate
CMM probes
as required for each inspection.
Set up work-holding and fixtures in accordance with approved procedures.
Read and interpret
CMM inspection reports
, manual inspection results, and engineering drawings/models to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Execute
CMM programs
and complete full review and sign-off of inspection reports.
Use
alternative inspection methods
to verify any features not measurable by CMM.
Communicate inspection results, progress, and issues effectively with
Quality, Engineering, and Operations
teams.
Operate all CMMs within the facility confidently and efficiently.
Manage simultaneous operation of
2-3 CMMs
during a shift, maintaining at least
70% OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency)
.
Assist in determining and scheduling CMM inspection priorities to ensure timely delivery of internal and external customer requirements.
Support
quality calibration activities
requiring CMM inspection.
Participate actively in
continuous improvement
,
Lean initiatives
, and projects supporting the company's
SC21 Gold Status
.
Adhere to all
company values, policies, and Health & Safety procedures
in daily operations.
Engage in ongoing
training and personal development
through the company's appraisal system.
Undertake additional duties and flexible working hours, including shift work and overtime, as required by the business.
Skills
