CMM Programmer/Operator



Industry: Vehicle Manufacturing

Location: OEM Site in Solihull/Fulltime onsite

Base: Manufacturing facility, off-site or satellite operations

Shifts: Monday to Thursday- 7.00am-4.00pm Fridays-7.00am-13.30pm

Overtime available midweek and weekends

. 4 weeks rolling - potentially till end of year

Summary



We are seeking a skilled CMM Operator to join our customers` dynamic team in the automotive sector.

This role is crucial in ensuring precision and quality throughout our production processes.

Responsibilities



Operate and maintain Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure accurate measurements Conduct regular inspections and tests on components to ensure compliance with quality standards Analyze measurement data and provide detailed reports on findings Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve measurement-related issues Develop and implement inspection plans for new products

Skills Required



Strong understanding of

GD&T and drawing

interpretation Able to operate

3D scanners

using

Polyworks

software Able to operate and write CMM programmes using PCDMIS software for all manner of parts Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and tools Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Proficiency in using CMM software and related measurement tools Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members Relevant certifications in quality control or measurement are preferred
