CNC 5Axis Machinist/ Toolmaker/ CAM Programmer

. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for a machinist with a strong background in

5-axis mill/turn machining

, toolmaking, and CAM programming -- ready to excel in a

fast-paced, target-driven environment

.

Key Responsibilities:

Set, operate, and program a wide variety of CNC machines --

primarily Mazak and Mori-Seiki

Set, operate and program WEDM machines -

primarily Sodik

Work extensively on

5-axis mill/turn machining centres

Develop efficient CAM programs for high-precision components Manufacture bespoke tooling, jigs, and fixtures Meet quality and delivery targets in a fast-moving production setting Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve machining challenges and improve processes

Essential Requirements:

Minimum 10 years' CNC machining experience

, including significant hands-on work with

5-axis mill/turn machining

Minimum 5 years' CAM programming experience

(Siemens NX preferred, or Fusion 360, Mastercam, Edgecam)

Minimum 5 Years of multi axis EDM/WEDM experience.

Proven

toolmaking experience

- including design and manufacture of fixtures and jigs Ability to program, set, and operate CNC machines independently from engineering drawings and 3D models Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerancing, materials, and tooling Health , Safety and Environment compliance. Experience working in a

fast-paced, target-driven production environment

Preferred Experience:

CAM programming using

Siemens NX

Experience with

Mazatrol, Fanuc, and Heidenhain

control systems Background in high-spec industries such as aerospace, defence, or medical Skilled in CMM use and high-accuracy measuring equipment Familiar with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices

What We Offer:

22.50 per hour

+ regular overtime

Rotating AM/PM shifts
