Silvey Engineering Ltd is a long-established, family-run precision engineering company with over 50 years of history. We are expanding our capacity with major investment in

two brand-new Hurco 5-axis machining centres

and a

new Doosan Lynx mill-turn

. To support this growth, we are seeking skilled

CNC Milling and CNC Turning Engineers

to join our team.

Open RolesCNC Milling Engineer

Program, set, and operate

3- & 5-axis CNC milling machines

Create CAM programs using

Fusion 360

(or similar software) Produce precision components in a variety of metals and engineering plastics Work directly on

brand-new Hurco 5-axis machines

CNC Turning Engineer

Program, set, and operate

CNC lathes

, including mill-turn capability Experience with

Doosan Lynx (Fanuc controls)

and/or

XYZ ProTURN machines

highly desirable Manufacture high-precision parts to tight tolerances Support continuous improvement and tooling strategies
Candidate Requirements

Proven CNC machining experience in

milling or turning

(or both) Strong programming and setting skills Proficiency in

Fusion 360

or similar CAM software Ability to work to tight tolerances with excellent attention to detail Team player with a proactive approach and pride in quality work
