CNC Laser Operator / Programmer - Precision Sheet Metal

Location: SL7, Marlow
Salary: Up to 35,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a precision sheet metal company for an experienced CNC Laser Operator / Programmer. This is not a milling or turning machinist position -- the role is fully focused on sheet metal laser cutting and fabrication. You will be programming, setting, and operating CNC laser cutting machines in a modern, well-equipped production workshop.

Key Responsibilities

Program, set, and operate CNC laser cutting machines (Trumpf, Bystronic, Amada or similar) Work confidently with sheet metal cutting, bending, and forming processes Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately Inspect finished components to ensure quality and tight tolerances Collaborate within a small, skilled workshop team to meet production schedules
Key Requirements

Proven CNC laser programming and operating experience within sheet metal manufacturing Hands-on ability to set, operate, and program CNC laser machines Strong understanding of sheet metal processes (cutting, bending, fabrication) Skilled in using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometres, gauges) Ability to read and work from engineering drawings Full UK driving licence preferred (site location may be difficult via public transport)
