We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating various machinery within a manufacturing or warehouse environment. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of production equipment, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to safety protocols. This role is crucial in supporting our production goals and delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to prevent downtime. Fabricate components using hand tools and machinery, ensuring adherence to specifications. Utilise materials handling techniques to manage inventory and product flow within the warehouse. Interpret technical drawings and CAD designs to assist in the setup of machinery. Perform quality checks on finished products, ensuring they meet company standards. Maintain a clean and organised work area, following all safety regulations. Support other production tasks as required

Experience

Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate logic controllers and various types of tooling. Familiarity with basic maths for measurements and calculations related to production tasks. Experience with milling machines or other fabrication equipment is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. A background in warehouse operations is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: From 12.95 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
