We are looking to recruit a CNC Machinist for up to a 12 months fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, based in our Head Office, Blackburn.

We currently support hospitals, universities, new build residential developments, towns and cities as well as industrial and commercial clients to decarbonise their buildings. We have, and continue to, work on ground-breaking projects throughout the UK which are leading the way to achieving the UK's Net Zero targets.
The Role
This role would be ideal for someone who has worked on bending machines, saws and other cutting/ grinding machines.
To work in a safe manner in accordance with the company's health & safety policy
Fully competent to use CNC machinery - Pipe feeding & cutting (saw) machines, Pipe bending machine, End Forming machine, Bench drill, Disc grinder and compressed air test unit
Forming pipe fittings (various metals) to a high standard and accurate tolerances
The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Assemble and sub-assemblies for final Heating & Cooling Interface Units (similar to a domestic boiler) HIU & CIU build.
These assemblies are both mechanical - Pipe work and electrical (low voltage 5v DC to mains voltage to 230v AC)
Contribute to final test, verification and validation of end products. This can be both mechanical testing (compressed air test and water rig test) and electrical testing (controller, valves actuators, heat meter & various sensors)
Achieve all quality standards required (ISO 9001-2000)
To look after tools, equipment and test equipment provided and report any defects immediately
The Person
Previous CNC Machinery experience
Basic Mechanical & Electrical assembly skills
