We are looking for experienced CNC Lathe/Milling machine setter / operator to join our manufacturing team.
You will be working with various CNC controls and machines to manufacture precision parts both low and hi volume to a high-quality standard while maintaining the company's Heath & Safety requirements.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities
Program, set or operate CNC lathes and milling machines
Assist with selection of appropriate tooling including cutting data to achieve optimal cycle times
Interpret engineering drawings to manufacture precision components
Inspect and verify finished parts to ensure quality requirements are met using various measuring equipment
Machine low and hi volume parts with a focus on accuracy
Troubleshoot machining issues and contribute to process improvement
Maintain production outputs & demands whilst keeping quality records
Carry out routine preventative maintenance
Assist cross training with fellow employees
Adhere to all health and safety requirements

Required Criteria
Minimum of 2 years proven experience in CNC turning and / or milling both operating and setting.
Proficient in reading detailed engineering drawings.
Experience working with large and small size components.
Strong problem solving & organisational skills.
Flexibility to work overtime should need arise.
Good Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety regulations

Hours of work are flexible, desired minimum hours of 36 hours made up over Mon - Thur.
Overtime available at the weekend also

Pay: 19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
