Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and a keen understanding of technical drawings and specifications. This role involves precision machining and the ability to work with various materials while ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Duties

Operate CNC milling machines and other related equipment to produce components according to specifications. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining processes. Set up tooling and fixtures for CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment and calibration. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Utilise hand tools for assembly and adjustments as needed during the production process. Perform materials handling tasks, including loading and unloading raw materials and finished products. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to machine operation or product quality. Maintain a clean and organised workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery operations. Proficiency in using SolidWorks or similar CAD software for interpreting designs. Familiarity with logic controllers and their application in CNC operations. Experience with tooling setup, adjustment, and maintenance. Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently within a warehouse setting. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
