We are a bespoke furniture company seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team and run our brand new CNC router. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating CNC machinery within the furniture making sector. This role is crucial in ensuring the precision and quality of our manufactured components. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the CNC machine and building associated furniture components.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate the CNC machine according to specifications.
Manage tooling.
Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files to produce accurate components.
Assemble parts as required, ensuring all specifications are met.
Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Utilise hand tools for adjustments and repairs as necessary.
Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment.
Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and workflows.
Skills
Knowledge of V carve software
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Experience with tooling and techniques relevant to CNC operations.
Familiarity with materials handling practices in a manufacturing of furniture.
Competence in using hand tools effectively for precision work.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
