We are looking for a competent and reliable CNC Machinist (Setter/Operator) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating and setting CNC milling or turning machines with Fanuc controls. Aerospace experience and knowledge of 5-axis machining would be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Set and operate CNC Mills or Lathes using Fanuc control systems Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Ensure components are manufactured to the required standards and tolerances Conduct in-process checks and basic inspection of components Identify and resolve minor issues with machine operation Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator (either Milling or Turning) Confident working with Fanuc controls Ability to read and work from detailed technical drawings Good understanding of machining processes and materials Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Desirable Experience:
Background in the aerospace or precision engineering sectors 5-axis machining experience Basic programming or editing skills on Fanuc machines
