CNC Machinist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting, operating and monitoring CNC machines (lathes, mills, etc.) to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and the ability to read technical drawings. The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations.

Duties

Operate CNC milling and turning machines to manufacture components according to specifications. Set up and adjust machines, including tooling and fixtures, for optimal performance. Interpret technical drawings and work instructions. Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications. Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area.

Skills

Experience in operating CNC machinery, particularly mills and lathes. Experience with CNC programming is a plus. Good understanding of mechanical drawings and tolerances. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Has an eye for detail and quality

Pay: 27,664.00-31,616.00 per year
