Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision components, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various materials and tools.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines to fabricate components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Assemble parts and products as required, ensuring accuracy and quality in the final output. Utilise hand tools and materials handling techniques safely and effectively. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to accurately produce required components. Apply basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during machining processes.

Skills

Proficient in operating CNC machinery with a solid understanding of logic controllers. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to fabricate and weld components as necessary. Familiarity with CAD software for interpreting designs is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills, demonstrating logical thinking in troubleshooting machinery issues. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
