department in

Location:

Huddersfield, United Kingdom

Contract:

12 Month Fixed Term

Salary:

35,000 + 30% shift allowance for night shift

Working Hours:

35 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Shift Patterns:

Days:

Monday to Friday - 7:30am-3pm

Nights:

Monday to Thursday - 10:15pm-7:30am

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

Set, operate, and maintain CNC lathes, Millers, and Grinders. Adjust tool offsets and datums for precision machining. Perform meticulous inspections using CMM machines and attribute gauges.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

Strong initiative with a drive to tackle challenges proactively. Proven communication skills and ability to conduct high-level training. Accountability in meeting commitments and promoting team goals. Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Ideal candidates will have CNC programming knowledge. Candidates should have experience in a machine shop environment. Apprenticeship-trained CNC machinists are preferred. Experience in CNC grinding, CMM operation, and Robot/Cobot is beneficial.
